TrackFIT Track & Field Tournament

The Feeling of a Tournament.
Built On A Track & Field.

Small teams. Five events. Three days. Athletes and teams complete multiple rounds per event with TrackFIT scoring on every single run and jump. Cumulative team and individual scores at the end of Sunday determines the champion. This is not a regular meet. Yes every athlete gets a result. This WITFL TrackFIT competiton is a tournament with advancement, finals, and real stakes on the line.

The Roster
12
Athletes Per Team
Minimum 10 athletes to enter. Maximum 12 — 10 starters designated to specific events and 2 alternates who compete alongside them.
2
Per Event
Two starters are designated per event. Their TrackFIT scores across every round of that event build the team's score for that event.
2
Alternates — The Wild Cards
Both alternates compete in every event. Their scores are live. A coach can swap an alternate into any starter's spot going into any future round — for injury, strategy, or because the alternate is outperforming. Think cross country: everyone runs, the best scores count.
Who This Is For
Club teams and travel squads who want a real tournament format. Coaches who want their athletes competing for titles, scholarship visibility, and NIL exposure — not just a place at a standard meet. If you have 10 to 12 athletes who want three days of serious competition, this is your event.
Three-Day Tournament Structure
Fri
Tournament Opens: 1600M
Friday night runs the 1600M. Teams enter their two designated runners. Round 1 runs. TrackFIT scoring opens. Every athlete is guaranteed a minimum of two rounds before any elimination begins.
Sat
Round 2 — All Events. Zero Eliminations.
1600M Round 2 plus Round 1 for the 60M, Long Jump, 60M Hurdles, and Pole Vault. Every athlete competes in every event all day Saturday. No eliminations through the end of Saturday. Minimum two hours between round blocks. TrackFIT scores accumulate across every round.
Sun
Rounds 3+ — 50% Cut Per Round, Per Event
After Round 2, 50% of the field is advances per event. The top 50% advance to Round 3. After Round 3, another 50% cut per event. This continues until finals. Cuts are per event — an athlete eliminated from the 60M still competes in the long jump. Friday and Saturday scores carry forward. The team with the highest cumulative TrackFIT score at the end of finals takes the championship.
The Difference
A team can win an event on the clock and still lose ground in the standings if another team produced better execution and pound-for-pound efficiency across the same event. Place does not determine standing. TrackFIT score does. That is the difference between a meet and a tournament.
Events

Five Events.
One Team Score.

Every event in this tournament is measured the way it has never been measured before. TrackFIT captures the finish result, the time distance or height, athlete mechanics, the splits, the forces generated, and the efficiency that produced the results — then we compare that to a prediction of what the athlete is capable of. That predicted ceiling and how close the athlete came to reaching it is part of every score. This is not a track meet its a transformation of the sport.

Five Events. One Scoring Language. One Team Score.
Every event. Every round. Every step. Force output, execution mechanics, pound-for-pound efficiency, and predicted ceiling gap — scored in the same language across all five events. Two athletes per event. Their scores combine. All five events accumulate into the team's tournament total. Scores carry into Sunday finals. The team that produces the most complete athletic output across all five events takes the championship.
TrackFIT Scoring

Every Tool In Sport Tells You
What Happened.

TrackFIT is the first one that tells you why. Time and distance are results. TrackFIT scores how the athlete produced them. That is what separates this tournament from every other.

The TrackFIT Score: Three Components
40%
Performance
Time, distance, height — the raw result
40%
Execution
Mechanics and movement quality — how it was produced
20%
Pound-For-Pound
Force output relative to bodyweight and efficiency
Each AthleteEarns a TrackFIT score for every event entered. Not just a time or a jump. A score built from all three components.
Each Team EventTwo entered athletes per event. Their scores add together. That is the team's event score for that round.
Tournament StandingAll five event scores accumulate. Scores carry into Sunday finals. Highest total wins the title.
Why Execution Is 40%
Two athletes can run the same time. If one ran it with cleaner mechanics and better force application, their execution score is higher. The stopwatch doesn't see that. TrackFIT does. That gap is where most athletes leave points on the table.
What Pound-For-Pound Means
A 145-pound athlete generating the same force-per-pound as a 185-pound athlete is equally efficient. Pound-for-pound levels the field and rewards efficiency over raw size. It is the score that recognizes the athlete, not just the body type.
How The Tournament Can Swing
A team can win the 60M race and still lose ground in the team standings if the competing team posted better execution and pound-for-pound scores in the same event. Place is just one input. TrackFIT score is the output that determines who advances.
Tournament Schedule

TrackFIT Tournament Dates.
Winter 2026–2027.

Every athlete competes a minimum of two rounds in every event before any elimination. At least two hours between rounds. This is a test of track fitness — recovery, force retention, and performance under accumulated fatigue are part of what TrackFIT is measuring. This is not a regular track meet.

Three-Day Round Structure — Every Weekend
FRI
Friday Night
1600M — Round 1. Every entered athlete competes. TrackFIT scoring opens. At least two hours before any subsequent round.
SAT
Saturday — Rounds 1 and 2
1600M Round 2 · 60M Round 1 · Long Jump Round 1 · 60M Hurdles Round 1 · Pole Vault Round 1. Every athlete competes in every event. No eliminations through Saturday — every athlete gets their two guaranteed rounds. Minimum two hours between each round block. TrackFIT scores accumulate across every round.
SUN
Sunday — Rounds 3, 4, and Finals
50% of the field advances after Round 2 forward to Round 3. 50% advance again after Round 3. Finals from the remaining field. Scores from Friday and Saturday carry forward into every Sunday round. The team with the highest cumulative TrackFIT score at the end of the final takes the championship.
Every athlete is guaranteed a minimum of two rounds in every event. Elimination begins after Round 2. Every round after that cuts 50% of the remaining field. The two-hour minimum between rounds is intentional — this is a test of track fitness, not a single-effort result.

Team Composition
Teams can be all boys, all girls, or any combination. There is no gender restriction on roster composition. Build the team that gives you the best TrackFIT score across all five events.
How Cuts Work — Per Event
Elimination after Round 2 is per event — not per team. An athlete cut from the 60M still competes in the long jump. A team that keeps more athletes competing across more events in later rounds has more scoring opportunities and a better chance of winning. That is the team-building strategy.
