How a Pilot Session Works
WITFL pilot sessions are team-based, high-throughput sprint and biomechanics evaluations designed for football, soccer, and track & field programs.Sessions are scheduled in advance and operated on site by WITFL staff using EchoTrak™ performance and biomechanics tracking.

Group Format & Minimum Participation

  • Sessions are conducted in team or group formats only
  • Minimum of 40 athletes per session
  • Individual or single-athlete sessions are not offered

This structure ensures efficient testing and consistent data quality across athletes.

Session Timing & Flow

Each session includes:

  • 30–45 minutes for setup, calibration, and system checks
  • A structured sprint testing window based on group size
  • 15–30 minutes for teardown and wrap-up

Total session timing is coordinated in advance with the coaching staff.

What Is Measured

EchoTrak™ collects performance and biomechanics data including:

  • Time to distance and split times
  • Acceleration and deceleration rates
  • Total distance covered over time
  • Step count and distance per step
  • Step frequency
  • Ground contact characteristics
  • Estimated force production per step (pounds of force)
  • Rate and efficiency of force application
  • Stride consistency and symmetry
  • Fatigue trends across repeated efforts
